The Amadeus Hostel is situated right in the city centre of Berlin adjacent to Voltastrae underground station (line U8). With Alexanderplatz only six minutes walk away, it is the ideal base for exploring the city. The hostel offers basic accommodation with shared shower roomsWC. Free WiFi is available in the lobby. Prenzlauer Berg (1. 5 km) is one of the most popular districts of Berlin with lively nightlife. Benauer Strasse (1. 5 km) is in what used to be the border area between West and East Berlin and is nowadays home to the Gedankstatte Berlin Mauer as well as document archives. The Fernsehturm (2. 6 km) is a radio tower that reaches a height of 204 m above the ground. It has its own restaurant where you can enjoy tasty snacks whilst soaking in the views over Berlin. Brandenburg Gate (3 km): Built in the late 18th century, this famous Berlin landmark marks the beginning of Unter den Linden , the famous boulevard which led to the Palace of the Republic.
